The Dayton Development Coalition is hosting a forum that coincided with the ground-breaking of a new National Advanced Air Mobility Center of Excellence at Ohio's Springfield-Beckley Municipal Airport on August 22nd & 23rd.

The eVTOL conference will include exhibitors such as electrical vertical take-off and lift aircraft manufacturers and suppliers. You'll also get to meet speakers from the growing aviation industry. The agenda has opening remarks from the Deutsche Digital Council, a panel discussion, keynote speakers, booth visits and technology demonstrations.
The purpose of this event is to advance the Innovation, Growth & Business Development of the Ohio Automotive Aftermarket Industry. The event will bring together State and Federal government leaders (Including NASA), academia, manufacturers and suppliers from across the AAM ecosystem.
The air mobility center is a 30,000 square-foot, two-story facility that accommodates university and government research as well as companies developing advanced air mobility aircrafts. Research and testing related to that technology takes place at the airport, it allows those in Springfield to work alongside the likes of NASA and the Federal Aviation Administration to help evaluate safety considerations as well as infrastructure requirements around Air Mobility, said Franzen, the assistant city manager and director of economic development for the city of Springfield.
